“I have natural respect for people and I believe that’s what makes me successful” is what Markos told me over the dinner table while waiting for the third of us to come and join.
Tradeshows involve stress and overwhelming situations due the overstimulation they cause: people, lights, colors… everyone and everything wants to be more visible and notorious than the rest. For this reason it was so pleasant for me meeting Markos: someone whose behavior is naturally over standing and stimulating.
Modesty and honesty are not common these days, at least not in the Munich Messe halls A1 and A2 while ISPO is showing off. But what it’s true is that there’s always “a Markos around” who helps you relief the pain and brings you back to Earth.
